School Bell Award & Membership Contest

The Indiana Retired Teachers Association Membership Committee announces the School Bell Award & Membership Contest


Sign up new members (regular or associate) to qualify for the drawing every quarter

$25 gift card for signing 1 or 2 new members
$50 gift card for signing 3 or 4 new members
$100 gift card for signing 5 or more new members

Drawings will be held the end of the months of September, December, March and June.
Contest will begin July 1, 2018. Memberships will be good until August, 2019 (so they get 3 free months)

Tell your friends and family about the wonderful benefits of IRTA membership. Regular and associate memberships qualify for this contest.

The presentation of this award will be at the 2019 Representative Assembly.

The School Bell is in recognition for the member (regular or associate) who has signed up the most new members

In addition to the award, the winner will receive a trip (3 days, 2 nights) in a city of their choice such as Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Louisville, or St. Louis. The prize will include hotel, parking and $400 spending money.

New memberships for regular and associate members are eligible.
Regular memberships are for any retired educator receiving a pension from the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund Associate memberships are for anyone else: friends, family, active teachers.
Also, eligible will be regular or associate members who rejoin after a lapse in membership of at least one year.
When signing up a regular member encourage them to choose the automatic dues deduction option, to save them from being bothered by reminders every year.
Members of the IRTA Board of Directors are not eligible to enter contest.


How to get credit:
On paper applications, put your name in the lower right hand corner next to where they indicate county of residence.
If they are applying online they should put your name in the NOTES portion of the form
